This application is subjected but not limited to the following Terms and Conditions:

: 1. You declare and certify that you are the bidder for this e-bid submission or, if you are not, that you have been authorised by the bidder to submit this e-bid submission on behalf of the bidder and to bind the bidder by these Terms and Conditions.; 2. These Terms and Conditions are supplemental to and are to be read together with the Terms of Use on the footer of this website.; 3. All capitalised terms used and which are not defined in these Terms and Conditions shall have the same meaning as ascribed to them under the Terms of Use.; 4. The headings contained in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions.; e-Bid Submission; 5. A bid for a vehicle registration number can be submitted to the Land Transport Authority ("LTA") on this website ("e-bid submission").; 6. An e-bid submission may be made for a maximum of three different vehicle registration numbers of the same prefix at the same bid amount, in the bidder's order of preference. However, if the bidder is successful, only one vehicle registration number will be awarded to the bidder.; 7. Bidders who are individuals (i.e. natural persons) shall, on the e-bid submission, provide an NRIC number (Singaporeans) / Foreign Identification Number (FIN), residential address and contact details. Bidders that are not individuals shall, on the e-bid submission, provide the Registration Number / Unique Entity Number (UEN), name and registered address of the company / business / entity, and contact details.; 8. The minimum bid for each registration number is $1,000/- (inclusive of GST). All offers shall be in multiples of $1/-.; 9. Any e-bid submission submitted by way of clicking on the "Submit" icon is irrevocable and unconditional, and cannot be withdrawn or cancelled. The Land Transport Authority ("LTA") is entitled (but not obliged) to effect or process any e-bid submission without any further consent from or reference or notice to you.; Payment; 10. A non-refundable service fee of $18.53 (inclusive of GST) for each e-bid submitted and the bid amount must be paid to the LTA in the manner stated herein. Please note that the payment of $18.53 (inclusive of GST) is to be paid by eNETS Debit for payment of bid amount through Cashier's Order.; 11. Total bid amount up to $100,000/- (inclusive of GST) must be made by eNETS Debit. Total bid amount above $100,000/- (inclusive of GST) may be made by eNETS Debit or by Cashier's Order. Payment by eNETS Debit can be made from an Internet banking account maintained with DBS/POSB, OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank or UOB.; 12. LTA shall not be responsible or liable for any failure, disruption or error in connection with any eNETS Debit transaction.; 13. Any Cashier's Order submitted to the LTA for the purpose of the e-bid submission must be valid for up to 3 weeks from the date of the e-bid submission. The Cashier's Order shall be enclosed in the self-addressed envelope (which may be generated online) and deposited into the tender box at LTA, Customer Service Centre, 10 Sin Ming Drive, Level 1, Singapore 575701 before the closing date and time of the bidding exercise.; 14. You agree that you are subject to the applicable bank's user agreement(s) for your payment mode. All charges imposed by the bank in connection with your payment mode shall be fully borne by you.; 15. Full payment must be made of the non-refundable service fee and the bid amount. Any payment that is not received in full, and any payment made by cash or cheque, shall be rejected by LTA, and the bidder's e-bid submission will be rejected.; Refunds; 16. If the bid is unsuccessful, the bid amount will be refunded. Any bid amount that is paid to LTA by eNETS Debit will be refunded by Interbank GIRO to the refund bank account furnished by the applicant at the point of bid submission. If the GIRO refund fails, a PayNow (NRIC/FIN/UEN) refund will be made to the bidder. Any bid amount that is paid by Cashier's Order will be returned to the bidder by mail or the bidder may opt for self-collection at LTA, Customer Service Centre, 10 Sin Ming Drive, Level 1, Singapore 575701.; 17. Subject to paragraph 17, there shall be no refund of monies paid to LTA.; Bidding exercise; 18. The LTA is not bound to accept the highest or any bid.; 19. The vehicle registration number successfully assigned to the bidder ("successful vehicle registration number") shall be applied toward the registration of a new vehicle in the bidder's name. The bidder may, instead of applying the successful vehicle registration number toward the registration of a new vehicle, replace an existing registration number of a vehicle currently registered in the name of the intended owner with the successful vehicle registration number, subject to the further payment of a fee of $327 (inclusive of GST) to the LTA.; 20. The results of the bidding exercise will be published on onemotoring.lta.gov.sg. Successful bidders will also be notified by email, which will be sent to the email address indicated on the e-bid submission.; 21. The successful vehicle registration number cannot be transferred to another person.; 22. The successful vehicle registration number must be used in the manner specified in paragraph 21 herein within twelve (12) months from the validity date stated in the email notifying the bidder of the successful bid ("validity period"). Thereafter, the successful vehicle registration number may be re-assigned without further notice to the bidder. However, the Registrar of Vehicles ("Registrar") may at his discretion permit the extension of the validity period for 6 months, subject to the payment to the LTA of a sum of $1,000/- (inclusive of GST) and an administrative fee of $42.51 (inclusive of GST).; 23. No refund will be made for any payment which has been accepted by the Registrar once the registration number is assigned to the bidder or on account of reassignment of the registration number or otherwise.; 24. Consent for collection, use and disclosure of personal data: You consent to us collecting from and/or disclosing to any other Government agency or public authority, and/or using, your personally identifiable data, including those that you have provided in this application, so as to serve you in an efficient and effective way. In addition, you consent to us collecting from and/or disclosing to any person (whether a natural person or a body corporate), and/or using, your personally identifiable data (i) where such person has been authorised to carry out any specific service on behalf of the Government or a public authority; (ii) in accordance with legislation under our purview to enable us to perform our functions or duties; (iii) to comply with any order of court; (iv) to comply with any written law; (v) to enable a Town Council to enforce, investigate and/or prosecute an offence under its purview; (vi) for the purpose of any legal proceeding involving any motor vehicle, power-assisted bicycle and/or personal mobility device registered with us; or (vii) for the purpose of taking any action against any person for the breach of any of our terms and conditions. Data provided to us may be used for verification and record of your personal particulars, including comparing with information from other sources, and may be used to communicate with you.; General; 25. Without prejudice to these Terms and Conditions, the LTA shall not be responsible or liable for any damages, losses or expenses including direct, indirect, special, punitive, economic or consequential losses and damages, howsoever arising from or in connection with the services provided to you in this regard.; 26. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore.
